　これは、1782年に発表されました。最初はハート一家だけではなく、スペード、キング、ダイヤ一家の物語も展開されていました。 　しかし、『不思議の国のアリス』 で第一連がそのまま引用されて有名になり、ハート一家のタルト騒動だけが歌われるようになりました。
